Summer School 2020

What can we do in our local environment, how will we rebuild post-Covid, how is the pandemic affecting climate change?

CotL members and climate activists Tom Bray and Hannah Malcolm lead our 2020 Summer School session with some thoughtful policy and theology discussion starters.

There was plenty of great discussion in half a dozen breakout rooms (not recorded) and you can hear the summaries in the second half of this recording.

NB. Apologies, Hannah’s introduction was cut off so the video launches straight into her presentation, starting with looking at some recent (June 2020) headlines around the climate crisis.

We published these additional notes and resources for members following our Summer School 2020 session. Download the PDF for more videos, articles, links, theology and additional information on supportive organisations.

Low Carbon Lifestyle

So much to love about Tom’s YouTube series.

Dozens of short (some very, some a tad longer) videos on a multitude of down-to-earth ideas around living a low-carbon lifestyle.

These are real ideas for everyday life and there is so much shareable content here:- watch a few and send something to a friend, whether they are a dog-lover, looking to change their energy supplier, need to rent an (electric) car for the weekend, or just need encouraging with a few tips that could help them save energy (and the planet).
