Ways to get Involved - Upcoming Events

Ways to get involved, beyond the 2016 leadership election...

Events coming up across the whole UK, including Liverpool, Manchester and Wolverhampton.

Labour Party Conference 2016: From Sunday 25 September 2016 to Wednesday 28 September 2016 Christians on the Left will be hosting a number of events at Conference in Liverpool. This is an opportunity to engage with the rest of the Labour community and to showcase the ideas and values of CotL. As always, there is an opportunity to join our team of volunteers. If you think this is something you would be able to serve with then please contact info@christiansontheleft.org.uk.

Unity Tour: Over the course of this summer members of the Executive Committee have been busy planning a tour of the UK to come this Autumn. Nights of worship, food and fellowship along with political ideas will allow Christians from all across the UK’s regions to gather as well as provide an ideal opportunity to introduce friends to what Christians on the Left is all about. If you would like to apply to host one of these events, please also contact info@christiansontheleft.org.uk

SHOW UP North: Our Christians in Politics SHOW UP weekend at the end of last year was a phenomenal success. This November 12th, we are co-hosting a new 1-day conference in Manchester with the usual mix of faith, politics and opportunities to build relationships. There will be opportunities to hear from MPs and other Christian leaders as they get to grips with the big questions around political engagement and how we effectively serve our communities. For tickets and more information click here.

West Midlands Meet the Executive: On November 19th, the CotL Executive Committee will be meeting in Wolverhampton and this will be the perfect opportunity to meet with other CotL members and to share fellowship and faith stories, as well as meeting the Executive and discussing local plans for our own communities. If you would like to attend or be involved in the day, please get in touch with our West Mids rep Mike Cronogue on cotlwestmidlands@gmail.com
