Praying for the End of Violence Against Children in Emergencies

Come and hear powerful stories from World Vision about their work across the world. Join Eleanor Smith MP and Jonathan Reynolds MP as we pray for the needs and safety of children in emergency situations, as well as the amazing workers who strive to meet those needs in almost impossible circumstances.

-- Around a quarter of the world’s children live in countries affected by conflict, natural disasters, epidemics and other emergencies. More than 245 million children are estimated to be living in conflict zones and around 50 million children are on the move having been uprooted from their homes.

-- Children are the least responsible for the world’s crises, yet are the most affected by them. Stripped of the usual protection of their communities and schools, these children are particularly vulnerable to violence (such as child marriage, child labour and sexual exploitation), whether they stay put or are forced to flee.
