Faith and the Future of Labour

Join us on 6th September for a special evening of discussion, as we look to the future and think about the role faith will play in the Labour Party. We're thrilled to be joined by both Jeremy Corbyn and Owen Smith for this event, as well as other religious leaders. It's sure to be an active and reflective evening, taking place in Kennington, in partnership with the Oasis Trust. Please RSVP via this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/faith-and-the-future-of-labour-tickets-27122037745 . We have a limited capacity and places are filling fast!

The leadership contest has been characterised sadly by too much abuse of the ‘rival’ supporters by each side of the race. Amazingly only one side seems to be getting members barred and yet any reasonable study of tweets etc will show abuse equally on both sides. Why is that? For instance the shocking use of the phrase ‘stormtroopers’ seems to have gone completely unpunished. Would both Owen and Jeremy condemn this dreadful use of language?
